Well I’ve survived the second round of chemo and I’m really looking forward to the third round (this is known as sarcasm) The second round was a little worse than the first one so it’s not something that you get used to. The good news is that the tumour in my lung is getting smaller so the treatment is not for nothing. Another piece of good news is that a C T scan of my head showed that I don’t have any brain tumours so my lunacy must come from somewhere else, possibly hereditary or maybe from the penguins (see photo). After round three I have another C T scan of my lungs and then it’s on to radio therapy. I have to meet the radiologist to work out a time table. It involves going to another hospital on the other side of town five times a week (Mon – Fri) for five weeks, it will be like going to work again. The actual treatment will only last for a minute each time but the getting there and waiting to be seen and the setting up might take me half a day. Who knows? I’ll let you know.
I haven’t been up to much since my last message, went fishing a few times and started doing chemo art (also see photo) Chemo art is a bit manic but so is my fishing, they both involve splashing about and getting mucky. That’s all for now so good luck and healthy lungs to you all,
Love Steve
